The Animal Health Leaf (AHL) is a laboratory test designed to measure essential macro, micro nutrient and trace element levels in plant material (grass, hay, silage etc). It can be useful to identify mineral deficiencies within your grass or forage which may be impacting the health and performance of livestock and other grazing animals.

How it works: We’ll post a sampling kit to you. You collect samples of your forage and send these to the labs using the kit we provide you. Your results will be returned to you by email, usually within 7days - this may vary depending on how busy the labs are.

We use Lancrop Labs, which are fully accredited by UFAS, giving peace of mind that your results will be accurate and reliable, further detail below.

Sample kit contains: instruction leaflet, forage sample bag, lab order form, pre-paid postage envelope for forage sample.
